Let’s start 2018 and the rest of our lives with a reminder of who we really are, where our experience comes from and what we have access to. In this talk and discussion Clare Dimond and Debbie Fisher will begin the Innate Health 2018 programme by exploring how the ability to ‘start afresh’ is built into the human design, why we never need will power and how our well-being is a given. Bring along your resolutions and hopes for the year. You might have an insight about them that changes everything.
Even though Clare was doing well in her career in global communications and marketing, she had enormous problems with public speaking (which was difficult as my jobs involved presenting and pitching). She felt anxious and worried that people would think she was stupid. IClare worried about getting things wrong. She felt stressed, ill at ease, apprehensive.
Clare spent decades reading, studying, attending courses, talking to people to try to find a way to feel better about herself and along the way earned many qualifications (BA Psych, MBA, NLP trainer, Post grad Journalism, yoga teacher, master hypnotist…).
It wasn’t until she attended Michael Neill’s Supercoach Academy in the US and the UK that I finally realised what was going on. This realisation led to profound changes as she stopped trying to fix things on the outside and began to listen more to what made sense on the inside. Clare continued exploring this understanding continuing to work with Michael and also with Garret Kramer, Jamie Smart, George and Linda Pransky, Amy Johnson, Rohini Ross, Kim Hare, Barbara Patterson and Aaron and Lila Turner.
Clare now works every day with individuals, schools, businesses and organisations to help them see what is behind their ability to thrive.
She is the well-being ambassador for Superdrug, advising their consumers and employees on innate well-being and creativity, offers free on-line courses to people who are struggling with public speaking, writes a weekly blog to support individuals and other coaches and teaches yoga in Marlborough to provide the physical benefits of yoga as well as the regular reminder of how we flourish.
Everything Clare does whether working with international CEOs or holding a local yoga class, reflects the truth that each of us has everything we need all the time and all we need to do is realise it.
For over twenty years Debbie has been working as a teacher for students with language learning difficulties, helping them to achieve their true potential in an academic setting.
When she first came across the Three Principles at a conference in London, despite her initial scepticism, she came away with a hopeful feeling of wonder, curiosity and a fascination to learn more. She was eager to explore how this understanding would impact her own ability to live in a world of potential, so that she could share this new paradigm with her family, friends, students and colleagues.
Having completed the One Thought Practitioners Training in the Three Principles, Debbie continued her learning on their Graduate Program and now serves on the faculty of their Foundation Program. Debbie started her own private practice which offers sessions for individuals and facilitation to groups who are interested to experience the wonderful benefits of this understanding. She is delighted to have become increasingly involved with the Innate Health Centre over the last two years and feels privileged to work with the wonderful practitioners and clients she has had the pleasure of meeting there.
Debbie is the proud mother of her two teenage sons, whose innate health, wisdom and kind, joyful natures are a constant source of inspiration to her.
